Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Budgi iOS app. By downloading or using Budgi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The service
Budgi provides personal budgeting tools, including ledgers, categories, trends, optional grocery price tracking, optional imports, optional CloudKit sharing, and optional on-device Ask Budgi AI features. Budgi is a consumer productivity tool and is not a bank, financial advisor, broker, tax advisor, or licensed professional service.
3. Budgi Plus subscriptions
Some features require an active Budgi Plus subscription purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system (StoreKit), including features such as Ask Budgi AI, advanced imports, longer trend ranges, receipt tools, and budget sharing where gated in the app.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4. Accounts and iCloud
Certain features require Sign in with Apple and/or an available iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID and for activity under your account. Shared budgets are visible to invited participants; share carefully.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Budgi, including by attempting to disrupt the app, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, or use it for unlawful purposes.
6. AI features
Ask Budgi may generate helpful suggestions based on your on-device budget data. AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on Ask Budgi as financial, legal, or tax advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make.
7. Intellectual property
Budgi, its design, branding, and software are owned by the Budgi developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Budgi is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Budgi will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that forecasts or AI answers will meet your expectations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budgi and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to Budgi is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Budgi Plus in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $10, except where prohibited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Budgi at any time by deleting the app and canceling any subscription through Apple. We may stop offering Budgi or particular features subject to applicable App Store and legal requirements.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
